T he exhibitors at the Plant Lovers Fair are specially chosen to offer ‘something different’ – rare, unusual or collectable. The selection of plants on display are not commonly available in Garden Centres. Despite being rare these plants are not difficult to grow! You will always find a great assortment of interesting species that will look great in your garden. The Plant Lovers Fair is held annually in September and is a not for profit event, organised by a volunteer committee, which showcases exhibitors offering a large range of interesting plants for keen and novice gardeners, collectors and plant lovers. We offer ancillary garden products, gourmet food, ATM and great coffee. This is our 8th year and we are delighted by the sponsorship from local businesses and our major Sponsor Glenn Wood Tap Dance. This year we proudly announce Costa Georgiadis, from ABC Gardening, as our Roving Ambassador. You can meet Costa Saturday morning and all day Sunday. Our knowledgeable growers will give talks about their own plants and share their vast experience at free, informal talk sessions. Our Plant Creche is available to store purchases allowing you to wander freely and enjoy all that is on offer at the Plant Lovers Fair.
